Mer de noms

When I lived in Thunderbird, for the first 6 months, I did not know my roommate’s name. The guy had a Chinese name that was difficult to enunciate and I instantly forgot it after we first met. And it was just to embarrassing to ask for his name again. After 6 months, I eventually learned his name from my other roommate Yasir, but even then Yasir wasn’t 100% sure on the pronunciation. Mercifully, a situation never arose that required me calling my roommate by his name.
