I hate people

Ban tasers? Some people baffle me.

In a dangerous situation, there are two options when dealing with violent and overly aggressive individuals.

1) Shoot them
2) Taser them

Even if the cop could club the "baddie" upside the head with a nightstick, I'm sure some idiots out there would complain about police brutality. These idiots ought to devote more time to solving the real problem: revising police procedure. Tasering a guy when you have him in cuffs, on the ground and outnumbered 4 to 1 doesn't strike me as proper procedure.
