Wanted: wussies and pansies

Nintendo plans on including demonstration videos within games to provide the player an in-game walkthrough. Nintendo also plans to include an option where a player can start playing from any point in the game.

As if society could become any wussier.

"Hey Jimmy you can't pass Math 4, but that's OK, you can go onto grade 5"
"Let's not keep score for today's hockey tournament and give everyone a trophy"
"Little 7 year old Jimmy is acting the fool and he will end up in juvenile hall, yet as his as parents, we shouldn't whoop his ass"
"Little 9-year Jericho is too good. We need to boot him out of our baseball league"
"Little Jimmy is morbidly obese, but that's ok, fat is beautiful"

Looking back now, now that I've grown up, I'm glad my parents gave me an ass kicking when I got out of hand as a kid. Sure at the time, I might have resented my parents, but it stopped my stupid behaviour and over time, the resentment would fade.

Now a generation of pansies will inevitably wilt when they discover that life is cruel, harsh and unforgiving.
