Voices in my head

I finally bought a Wii and Mario Galaxy. However, the Best Buy cashier forgot to scan in Mario and I walked away without saying a word. In my rental car, I realized my new GPS was not preloaded with a map of Alaska. I go back in for a swap.

And I made sure to pay for Mario.

"It's a big nameless corporation"
"It's a big box store"
"It's the cashier's fault for screwing up"

I feared the bad karma might've lead to a car crash.

Damn conscience.
